Wonderful Stay, Clean Rooms and Great Service!

The rooms were very clean and quite spacious. I found the staff at reception helpful and cute. They were always happy to assist and address any questions I had. I also appreciated the drinks vouchers offered.

Excellent Stay with Great Amenities

Check-in was simple. I really appreciated the Christmas decorations. The room was clean, well-heated, and had plenty of tea and coffee. I also enjoyed the hot chocolate with marshmallows available at reception (a nice little extra!). The hotel's location is very convenient. Large parking is available opposite the hotel. The staff offered a complimentary welcome drink to celebrate Christmas. The restaurant provided a good selection of food. The room had a bath, which I liked. The location is good for accessing the city center. All the staff were friendly.

There was a strong chemical smell in the room. I had to sleep with the window open as a result. The smell was not present in my daughter's room, so I am not sure what caused it.

The restaurant had a good selection of items (the pastries looked fresh). I saw water pitchers with ginger and lemon near the entrance . There looked to be sufficient seating, and the area was well kept.

Electrics issue in Room 206

The reception staff provided acceptable service .

In room 206, the electrics along the left-hand wall malfunctioned, meaning the tv, lamps, and kettle did not work. I could not use my hair straighteners (essential for me). The only plugs that worked were above the bedside table.

The room felt quite cramped. Air conditioning did NOT work as it should. I left an item behind and the staff did not demonstrate sufficient interest in helping me locate it.
